Career Readiness
One of the core missions of ECoE is to provide students with the skills necessary to achieve success in the workplace and throughout their career. The Frank and Jessie Mosing Endowed Engineering Student Career Development Program, housed within ECoE will provide students programs to enhance their competencies in critical thinking/problem solving, oral/written communication, teamwork/collaboration, digital technology, leadership, professionalism/work ethic, career management, and global/intercultural fluency, as indicated relevant by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Career Development Workshop Series: The workshop series is a joint effort between the College of Engineering and the Office of Career Services to assist students with planning for and navigating their upcoming careers. The workshops include current industry professionals who guide the students by providing advice and insight into various career paths.
Designing Leaders Program: A lecture series held each Spring for selected students based on academic standing. The program is designed to provide students with leadership insight and skills from community leaders who aim to design successful leaders.
Engineering Ambassadors Program: An organization that consists of diverse and enthusiastic engineering students who strive to enrich prospective students' knowledge and understanding of engineering disciplines. Engineering Ambassadors represent the college with enthusiasm and pride.
