Expo High School Student Competitions

Are you competitive or just want some bragging rights? If you fit either or both descriptions you should enter one of the Engineering and Technology Expo high school competitions!

Registration Procedures

  • Pre-registration for the E&T Week high school games is only required for Mystery Challenge. All teams are required to pre-register online for Mystery Challenge at least a week before the event to guarantee a competition time and help facilitate planning.
  • A team not pre-registered will be allowed to register on the day of the event provided there is a spot available.
  • Winning teams will be announced and awarded at 12:45 PM in Rougeou Hall (CLR) Room 332. Location to be confirmed.

2026 High School Student Competitions

Water Balloon Drop:

The Water Balloon Drop Competition will be part of the tour route (at the bucket truck behind Rougeou Hall) and run from 8:30 am to 11:45 am.

Water Balloon Drop details and specifications can be found here.

  • Teams will be evaluated and tested in groups.
  • Each team must have at least one member present during their drop.
  • First, second, and third place will be awarded for the event based on overall scores.

Mystery Challenge Event Info:

Start Time: 11:00 AM          End Time: 12:00 PM

Location: Rougeou Hall (CLR) Room 324 (to be confirmed)
