Dwight D. Serrett Endowed Scholarship in Chemical and Bioengineering

Dwight grew up in Henderson, Louisiana, and graduated from Cecilia High in St. Martin Parish. In 1975, he graduated from USL (currently named UL Lafayette) with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and worked in the oil and gas industry throughout his entire career. This scholarship is intended to encourage participation in the Chemical and Bioengineering fields.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Student recipient must be admitted to the University and enrolled as a full-time student.
2. Student recipient must hold a major in Chemical Engineering and be enrolled in the Bioengineering concentration.
3. Student recipient must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
4. Student recipient may be classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior.
