Congratulations to Lillian Laporte recipient of the 2022 Scholarship presented by Construction Management Association of America’s (CMAA) Gulf Coast Chapter for outstanding academic achievement and promise as a future construction management practitioner. Lillian is a Senior in Engineering Technology with a minor in business and a minor in Pre-MBA.

The CMAA Gulf Coast Chapter awards a limited number of scholarships to qualified students to help defray the costs of pursuing a degree in Construction Management or a related-degree program. The selection committee reviews applications based on academic performance, quality of the essay on future plans and interest, self-help endeavors, recommendation from a faculty advisor and the nature and extent of the student’s extracurricular activities.

During the summer of 2022, Lillian worked as an Intern for C.H. Fenstermaker & Associates, LLC., Inc.  Lillian plans to pursue her MBA at UL Lafayette with a focus on Project Management.
