Missy B. Rogers, P.E.

President, Noble Plastics

Missy Rogers is the President and founder of Noble Plastics of Grand Coteau.  Noble offers injection molding services, product design and conversion to thermoplastics, and the development of robotic automation systems to support manufacturing.  Noble provides services to oil and gas, defense, industrial, and commercial goods clients.  In business for over 21 years with 18 years in robotic automation, Noble is a strong ally of UL Engineering and Technology students.

Missy serves on the advisory boards of the LSU Mechanical Engineering Department, the Manufacturer’s Association of Plastics Processors, and is a mentor to young professionals both in MAPP and the local 705 Group.  Former board member of One Acadiana, MEPOL, Centre International, and the Louisiana Manufacturers Institute, Missy’s focus on workforce development and retaining talent locally brought her to the UL Engineering Week as ongoing sponsor of the Design Challenge.

After graduating from LSU with a Mechanical Engineering degree, her career started with Texaco as a rotating equipment engineer.  Special Projects and opportunities in risk mitigation led to a consulting role in forensic engineering following her professional registration in the state of Louisiana.  After moving to Lafayette and starting a family, she and her husband Scott Rogers formed Noble Plastics in 2000. 

She was named one of Acadiana’s Women Who Mean Business in 2015, and a Woman Breaking the Mold by Plastics News in 2020.  Noble was awarded the JA Small Business of the Year in 2014, the Louisiana Lantern Award in 2015, the Oracle Excellence Award in 2017, the Plastics Technology magazine’s World Class Processor in 2017, the National Association of Manufacturers Leadership Award for Industrial IOT in 2019, and the 2020 MAPP Innovation Award.  Missy is a proud graduate of Leadership Lafayette.
