ASCE Chi Epsilon Endowed Scholarship
For many years, UL Lafayette had a local honorary society which recognizes outstanding civil engineering students. During the late spring of 1985, this local honorary society was installed as the 104th chapter of Chi Epsilon, a national engineering honor society. One of the first activities undertaken by Chi Epsilon was the establishment of an endowed scholarship at the university (then U.S.L.). As a result of various fundraising activities undertaken by the chapter, $400 was placed into the UL Lafayette Foundation in October 1985 to officially establish the endowment.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be eligible to enter junior year
- Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
