Christopher Grimmett Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Chemical Engineering
Chris Grimmett was a young man who loved life with a passion-and one of his passions was his chosen profession of engineering. Chris earned his BS in Chemical Engineering at UL Lafayette, graduating in spring 2010. When Chris was killed in a tragic automobile accident in April of 201 l while working for Mi SWACO, a Schlumberger company, his family, his employer, and his colleagues agreed that the establishment of a scholarship in his memory would be the kind of memorial that Chris would have appreciated. Chris was a young man who always thought of others and was willing to help them whenever he could-a scholarship to help another chemical engineering student achieve his dreams is a fitting memorial.

- Must be a sophomore, junior or senior
- Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
