Dailey Berard Endowed Scholarship in Engineering
Mr. Dailey Berard is a prominent Acadiana area businessman and civic leader who has maintained close contacts with UL Lafayette (formerly USL) for many years. He was a student at USL in the late 1940’s and has taken courses at the University over the intervening years. Mr. Berard has also had two daughters graduate from USL. Mr. Berard currently serves on the UL Lafayette Foundation Board of Directors. Based on his love for and appreciation of the University, as well as his interest in engineering endeavors, Mr. Berard created this endowment scholarship in conjunction with the USL Foundation fund drive.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a freshman
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be a Louisiana resident
- Must be a graduate of a Louisiana high school
