Beldon E. Fox, Sr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Engineering

Mr. Beldon E. Fox, Sr., was the founder of Red Fox Industries, a privately owned corporation having its principal office and place of business in New Iberia, LA. The Red Fox Machine and Supply Company has been serving industry for over forty-two years with high quality engineering. Mr. Beldon E. Fox, Sr., began his career in the metal-working industry with the American Iron and Machine Works Company in 1929. The Red Fox Machine and Supply Company, cornerstone of Red Fox Industries was founded in 1944 when Mr. Fox and Charles Cormier bought the New Iberia of American Iron and Machine Works. In the early 1970’s, Beldon E. Fox, Jr., and his brother, Robert C. Fox, established Red Fox Industries. The late Beldon E. Fox, Jr., served the Red Fox companies as president until his death in 2009. In 1982, the Beldon E. Fox, Sr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Engineering was established in their father’s name.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  2. Must be a US citizen
  3. Must be a Louisiana resident
  4. Preference given to Acadiana area native
