IEEE/Felix Boudreaux Endowed Scholarship

The Felix Boudreaux Scholarship was established in 1969 by faculty and
friends of the Electrical Engineering Department in memory of Dr. Felix Boudreaux who was head of the department from 1965 to 1969 and who died in 1969. In 1988, the Lafayette Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) Scholarship effort was joined with the Felix Boudreaux scholarship to form the IEEE/Felix Boudreaux Scholarship. In recognition of the service of Dr. Felix Boudreaux and with a desire to further the programs of our university, this scholarship was developed in April 1988.
