Elliott M. Bouillion

A New Iberia native, Elliott graduated from UL Lafayette (USL) and launched his first successful business venture. He then joined Landmark Graphics Corporation as a founding member, serving as vice president of geophysics and modeling when the company had only 20 employees. Elliott managed various technology and service divisions in Houston and London, culminating his 12-year tenure as corporate vice president and general manager, leading more than 1,800 employees worldwide. Landmark completed an initial IPO in Oct. 1998 and was later acquired by Halliburton in 1996.

In 2007, Elliott founded RES in Baton Rouge, La., a nationwide, fully scaled operating company providing ecological restoration and water resource solutions that build natural resiliency for public and private sector clients. Elliott leverages 30 years of operational excellence as president and chief executive officer of RES, focusing on the balance between economic development and environmental stewardship.

As an entrepreneur and business leader, Elliott has been an angel investor and participant on the board of directors of several companies including FRx Software (acquired by Microsoft), Ischemia Corporation (acquired by Inverness Medical Innovations), Object Reservoir (acquired by Halliburton) and Anark Corporation. Elliott helped create many businesses and community-focused organizations. He was a founding sponsor and board member of the Houston Technology Council Energy Incubation and Acceleration Program and served as president of the Houston Private Equity Association. Elliott serves on the board of directors for the Gulf of Mexico Foundation and, in 2015, was named to the executive committee of the Committee of 100 for Louisiana.
