Peter C. Bernard

Peter started his 25-year career with Halliburton in 1984. Until his early retirement in 2009, he held multiple roles with increasing responsibility in the U.S. and internationally, including senior vice president of business development and marketing, president/chief executive officer of Landmark Graphics, and executive committee member of Halliburton.

Peter formed Pinion Energy and Consulting in 2009 and has become a trusted industry expert and advisor. He was hired by Kenda Capital to serve as executive chairman of two of its companies and to advise on four additional boards. In 2012, Peter was asked to join US SILICA (NYSE: SLCA) as an independent board member where he serves on the audit committee and as chairman of the nominating and governance committee. Peter was executive chairman of C & C Reservoirs, a global digital analog and data company in the exploration industry. In 2014, Peter was hired to advise Warburg Pincus on investing in the oil and gas service space. Since his involvement, Warburg has purchased 11 companies that were consolidated into three entities: Rubicon Oilfield International, where Peter serves as executive chairman, RS Energy Group, and Conquest Energy Services, where he serves as advisor and independent director.

Peter is a member of the UL Lafayette Louisiana Heritage Society™ and has served as a member of the Advisory Board for the Petroleum Engineering Department. Peter and his wife support many non-profit organizations, especially those with an emphasis on education.
