Concordia Electric Non-Endowed Scholarship for Sustainable Energy Education

Concordia Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a rural electric cooperative serving members in Caldwell, Catahoula, Concordia, Franklin, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides and Tensas Parishes. This donation to support scholarships at UL Lafayette is made in honor of the dedication of a solar generating facility in Pointe Coupee Parish and to provide a community benefit to the residents of the parishes we serve.

 

Eligibility:

  1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student.
  2. Must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  3. Must be pursuing a degree in the College of Engineering with an interest in energy efficiency, renewable energy, or sustainability.
  4. Must be a Junior or Senior.
  5. Preference given to students who reside in the following parishes: Caldwell, Catahoula, Concordia, Franklin, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides or Tensas Parishes.
