Henry Family Endowed Memorial Scholarship in Chemical Engineering

This scholarship was created by Mary Beth Henry in memory of her brother, Scott A. Henry, and her parents, Joseph Colbert Henry, Jr., and Mercedes A. Henry. Mr. and Mrs. Henry always stressed the importance of education and obtaining degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. They were very proud that all three of their children were graduates of the university. Scott obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering and pursued a Master's from Texas A&M. It was always Mary Beth Henry's intention to establish a scholarship to honor him, and now her parents are included. 

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be admitted to the university and enrolled as a full-time student
2. Must have and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
3. Must be majoring in Chemical Engineering
4. Must be classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior
5. Preference given to residents of Texas and Louisiana
