Alumni gathered in Houston last week for "An Academic Affair"! The University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Alumni Association and the Houston Ragin' Cajun Club hosted this engaging event across multiple colleges. It was a wonderful evening spent with Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Jaimie Hebert and deans from each college.

Following the main event, the College of Engineering hosted a reception where Dean Khattab shared exciting updates about the College’s future. He highlighted our increasing enrollment, curriculum enhancements, and the impactful initiatives of the Engineering Center of Excellence (ECoE).

“Our vision is clear,” said Dean Khattab. “We are empowering the next generation of engineers with cutting-edge education, innovative programs, and numerous opportunities for collaboration.”

Keeping our alumni and community informed of our progress is important, and we’re excited to continue this journey together!
