Students in Petroleum Engineering (PETE) were tested this week and recieved International Association of Drilling Contractor (IADC) certification. 

The Petroleum Engineering Department is accredited as a WellSharp Well Control Training Center, led by Mr. Randy Andres.  "I am proud of the students' achievement and their dedication to enhance their knowledge in well control - a pillar of safe and successful drilling operations" says Andres.

UL"s PETE department is the only PETE department in the nation to hold this certification.  Mr. Andres is certified as an IADC Accredited Well Control Instructon on levels 1- Awareness, 2-Introduction, 3-Drillers and 4-Engineers and Supervisors.
