Lafayette Oilman's Sporting Clays Donates $50,000

The Lafayette Oilman's Sporting Clays recently donated $50,000 to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation - Phil LaLande Memorial Scholarship to benefit the students in the Petroleum Engineering Department and the Professional Land & Resource Management Program at UL Lafayette.

The mission of the Lafayette Oilman’s Sporting Clays is to fund oil-industry related scholarships at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  They have been hosting the Sporting Clays Shoot for 24 years.

Dr. Khattab, Interim Dean of the College of Engineering had the great pleasure of personally thanking the group during their shoot on Saturday.  “The College is grateful for the Lafayette Oilman’s Sporting Clays’ continuous support and dedication to the College and to the University,” says Dr. Khattab.  “This helps to enhance our student experience and increase their success.”
