Congratulations to the College of Engineering Faculty honored during a reception on May 8, 2019 honoring the 2018-2019 Outstanding Advisors. Presenting the awards were Dr. Jaimie Hebert, Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Robert McKinney, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Honored were Dr. Cherif Aissi - Professor for Industrial Technology, Mr. Harvey Ozbirn - Instructor for Industrial Technology and Computer Systems Manager for the College of Engineering,  Mr. Jalel Ben Hmida - Instructor for Mechanical Engineering, Ms. Carla Hodge - Instructor for Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. G.H. Massiha - Professor for Industrial Technology.

The Outstanding Faculty Advisor Awards Selection Committee made the selections based on several criteria including: assessment by advisee; rankings from department and deans; statement on advising philosophy, methods, innovations and challenges. Special consideration was also given to applicants who participated in orientation advising last summer.
