SASOL Endowed Scholarship in Engineering
Sasol is an international integrated chemicals and energy company headquartered in South Africa that leverages the talent and expertise of our more than 30,000 people working in 33 countries. We develop and commercialize technologies and build and operate world-scale facilities to produce a range of high-value product streams, including liquid fuels, chemicals and low-carbon electricity. In North America, Sasol is building a world-scale petrochemical complex and already has operations in Arizona, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Texas.
Through Sasol’s Corporate Social Investment program, we donate nearly $1 million to community organizations. Sasol established endowments with McNeese State University and SOWELA. We are expanding this opportunity with ULL. These are longstanding partnerships but now, we are shifting our donations into endowments to ensure the scholarships last for years.
Eligibility Requirements
- Preference will be given to Chemical Engineering students
- Must be a junior or senior
- Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Preference will be given to Louisiana residents
