Engineering and Technology Week
The Student Chapter of the Louisiana Engineering
Society at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette,
working with the College of Engineering, organizes
Engineering and Technology Week activities during the
Spring Semester of each academic year to celebrate the
important role of Engineering and Technology in
meeting the present and future needs of society. The
activities are designed to engage students, faculty,
alumni, and the community in interesting events which
showcase the engineering and technology professions
and increase interest in and appreciation of the
complex ways in which engineering and technology
impact the world around us.
Engineering and Technology Expo Day highlights
opportunities in Engineering and Technology for
High School students. The objectives of Expo Day are
to:
- Encourage local and regional students to
consider Engineering and Technology as a
career.
- Increase local and regional understanding about
the importance of Engineering and Technology.
- Increase local and regional knowledge about
UL’s College of Engineering
2010 Engineering & Technology Expo Day
will be March 10.
