What is the Expo?

The E&T Expo is an opportunity for students to tour our College of Engineering and get a "close up" look at what our University has to offer in the fields of engineering and technology. This is the most comprehensive tour our we offer and takes place once a year during the spring semester. Visitors are able to see our labs, classrooms, and projects and interact with current students and faculty. Additionally, companies that hire engineers showcase their businesses and share career opportunities for today's engineering graduate.

Our next Engineering and Technology Expo is on March 20, 2024

While the Expo is primarily designed for high school students, especially those interested in math and science, all are welcome! The majority of our visitors attend with their teachers (and/or principals, counselors, etc.) as a field trip, but parents can come with their students apart from a large group.

The Expo begins at 8:30 am and concludes at 1:00 pm. Visitors may arrive at any time during this period and are asked to check in at our main tent in the front of Madison Hall (131 Rex Street, Lafayette, LA 70503) where maps are available. Guided tours for groups are available on a first come, first serve basis.

To help with planning, we ask that schools register as soon as possible. The deadline is 2 weeks before the event. If you have any questions or would like additional information, email EandTexpo@louisiana.edu or contact the College of Engineering at 337-482-6685.
